Lana Turner

The Estate of Lana Turner has placed this amazing Gucci Alligator case once owned by Lana up for auction at Ebay. Her daughter Cheryl describes the item as:

Mother’s Gucci alligator traveling case. She carried everything that was precious to her in it ( her make-up and her jewelry). This case is magnificent and one of a very few made and sold in Europe. The inside has two zipper pockets and fittings of leather for jars and bottles (pictured) there is the Gucci label inside and the zippper pulls (pictured) are Gucci Charms. When she took it to Gucci in Beverly Hills to have a zipper repaired they appraised and insured it for $25,000.00. They told her that it should be in their museum. All of the fittings are of gold metal and includes her luggage tag with initials LT and her TWA International Travel Card (signed by her) and a large Photo Tag reading Property From the Estate of Lana Turner. The case measures eight inches tall by eight and one half wide by twelve inches long.
